The Third Act
A collection of reflections, ideas, projects, and practical lessons from life beyond the traditional working years.
The Third Act is a collection of reflections, ideas, projects, and practical lessons from life beyond the traditional working years.
It explores the challenges many of us face as we get older: retirement, changing identities, health problems, anxiety, loneliness, purpose, and the search for meaning in a rapidly changing world.
Alongside those challenges are the things that can help. Creativity. Learning. Photography. Art. Writing. Journaling. Technology. New skills. New friendships. New experiences.
I am not an expert. I am simply sharing my own journey.
After retirement, cancer treatment, anxiety, panic attacks, and the challenges that come with getting older, I discovered that curiosity could be just as important as medicine.
This section is about staying engaged with life, finding new possibilities, and proving that growth does not have an expiry date.
If something here helps you start a project, learn a skill, improve your wellbeing, or simply see things differently, then it has served its purpose.
